If you needed an explanation from me on where I’ve been for the last 6+ months, like… that’s legit all I’ve got. It’s been rough.
It’s 11:14 p.m here in Chicago. The air is cold, the wind is rude, but the view is always beautiful. I’m actually standing in my kitchen, a bowl of mixed brownie batter to the left and a dry mound of cookie mix waiting to be stirred to life. I’m making cookie-brownies, requested by the Hubby.
(Yeah, the wedding happened! Updates later…Promise!)
What I’ve learned from these few months has only manifested itself as wisdom to me as of today.
- I cannot be dependent on the acceptance of others.
- Happiness can best be defined as a moment, and a good life only defined as the pursuit of such moments.
I have so much to tell you about life, what it’s like being married, and what it’s like going into my senior semester.
But alas, it shall have to wait.
I’ve got a husband heading home soon and batter to bake. 😉
See you soon!!!
